NATOA Community Broadband Awards 2009

NATOA Announces that Integrated Systems of Victor New York is the recipient of the 2009 Community Broadband Award for Outstanding Endeavors to Bring Broadband to More Communities and Consumers.

In recognition of the broadening role of government in technology, NATOA proudly honors outstanding individuals and projects that seek to improve government and public options in broadband technology. This exceptional awards program was initiated to recognize and highlight some of the many extraordinary efforts going on at the local level to bring the benefits of technology to American communities. Throughout the United States, numerous exceptional leaders in government, business, organization and the community are serving as champions of local interests and needs in broadband and technology. Integrated Systems has been recognized with awards for two community projects.

About NATOA

The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors is a national association that represents the communications needs and interests of local governments, and those who advise local governments. Our membership is predominately composed of local government agencies, local government staff and public officials, as well as consultants, attorneys, and engineers who consult local governments on their telecommunications needs. Our government members have responsibilities that range from cable administration, telecommunications franchising, rights-of-way management and governmental access programming to information technologies and INET planning and management. We have members from not-for-profit organizations whose needs and interests are complementary to those of NATOA’s members and we have members who are vendors to local governments, and telecommunications providers of all types of services to and for local governments.
